Veranda Tirana works in the heart of the capital with glass walls, office partitions and canopies for the venues, offices and institutions around Skanderbeg Square, Bulevardi Zhan D'Ark and the Kavaja road. The center is where architectural glass has the greatest impact: shopfronts opening venues towards passers-by, hotel lobbies with large glazed surfaces, office entrances with elegant canopies.
The center's building stock mixes 1930s villas, the post-war administrative block and new towers with glass façades. Each typology demands a different approach: in historic buildings we work with slim profiles that respect the façade; in new towers we integrate with the existing glazing and alucobond systems.
Shopfronts and façades for center businesses
The heavy pedestrian flow from the Square to Bulevardi i Ri makes the shopfront the most important investment for a venue in the center. We build glass walls with extra-clear (low-iron) glass, automatic doors with sensors and glass canopies over entrances that shelter customers from rain. Work is planned so the venue never closes: installation happens at night or on Sundays.
Office partitions in administrative buildings
Many offices in the center are in 1970s–80s concrete buildings, with large rooms that need dividing. Glass partitions carry light from the existing windows deep into the space, without touching the systems. Mechanical installation needs no building permit and the office administration usually approves it right away, since there is no masonry work.
The parking and logistics challenge downtown
We know supplying the center is problematic: restricted-traffic zones, tight time windows and often no goods lift. That is why we plan glass delivery with a small van in the allowed hours and vertical transport with trained staff. This logistics is included in the quote — no surprise costs on installation day.
