Veranda Tirana replaces old balcony railings with modern aluminium and glass systems in Tirana and Durrës. The iron railings of 1970s–90s apartment blocks are corroded and unsafe; new systems with laminated glass deliver safety, a clean look and added value to the apartment.
For outdoor use we use powder-coated aluminium profiles and 6+6 or 8+8 mm laminated glass, on posts or on a base channel. The system is engineered for wind loads according to the floor level and exposure of the balcony — a critical detail in the tall towers of Unaza e Re and Astir.

Cost of replacing a balcony railing
An aluminium railing with glass panels costs 60–110 € per linear metre installed. For a typical 4–6 metre balcony in the Kombinat or Laprakë blocks, the total is 250–650 €, including removal of the old railing and waste disposal. In Durrës, where sea salt demands marine-grade aluminium treatment, we use reinforced coating with no major price change.
Permits and building rules
In most Tirana buildings, replacing a railing at the same height needs no permit, but some newer residences have aesthetic regulations (profile colour, glass type). Before ordering the glass we help you check the building administration rules, so the installation does not become a problem with the administrator.
