Veranda Tirana works extensively along the Astir–Unaza e Re axis, where the residential towers built after 2010 have different standards from the old blocks: large balconies, high floors and administrators with strict aesthetic regulations. Here glass railings and balcony enclosures must be carefully engineered for wind, which above the tenth floor becomes the main load.
Many apartments in this area are bought by Albanians of the diaspora as investment or holiday homes: our photo and video reports on WhatsApp let them follow the installation from abroad, without needing to be physically in Tirana.
Wind on high floors: how we engineer the glass
In the Unaza e Re towers, wind on the upper floors can exceed twice the street-level load. That is why glass thickness (6+6 or 8+8 laminated), post spacing and fixing depth are calculated according to floor and exposure — not with a single standard for everyone. This ensures the new railing does not vibrate or "whistle" in strong wind.
The aesthetic regulations of new residences
Most new Astir residences require railings and enclosures to keep the profile colour and glass type set by the developer's design. Before production we check your residence's regulation and prepare the drawing for the administration's approval — so installation is not blocked midway and you risk no fines.
Apartments for the diaspora: remote management
For clients living in Italy, Germany or the UK we manage the whole cycle: we collect the keys from the administrator, measure, produce, install and hand over by video call. Payment is by transfer in two instalments — on order and on delivery, with full photos of the finished work.
