Veranda Tirana covers all of Laprakë, from the cluster of 1980s brick blocks towards Shkodra street to the new residences climbing towards the Grand Park and the artificial lake. Laprakë has two main demands: replacing worn railings in the old blocks and safety glass for the new residences with courtyards and private green spaces.
The proximity to Tirana's lake makes the quarter attractive for families — and near water, material requirements grow: our stainless steel and treated aluminium resist moisture and rust far longer than the old iron of existing railings.
The brick blocks: what the structure demands
Laprakë's 1980s blocks have brick walls and balconies with concrete slabs. The new railing fixes into the slab, not the brick wall — so the load distributes correctly. For balconies with damaged plaster, the surface is restored with repair mortar before installation, so the base channel sits flat and watertight.
Glass fences for ground-floor courtyards
In Laprakë's new residences many ground-floor apartments have a private courtyard. A glass fence separates the courtyard from the shared space without visually closing the garden — an elegant boundary needing zero maintenance compared to iron or wood. Typical height 120–150 cm, with self-closing gate.
Glass for families with children
Near the park and schools, Laprakë has many young families. For balconies where children play we always recommend laminated glass, which even when broken by a toy or ball stays in place without falling. The extra cost over plain tempered glass is minimal; the safety difference is total.
