Glass Veranda — A New Room for Your Home

Glass Veranda — A New Room for Your Home

Veranda Tirana is the glass veranda specialist in Tirana and Durrës: aluminium structures with large glazed surfaces attached to the house or enclosing the yard, creating a new space full of natural light. A glass veranda is the ideal solution for private houses in Sauk, Fresku, Yzberisht and Kamza, and for cafés and restaurants that want to use their terraces all year round.

Every veranda is designed around the façade: glass or polycarbonate roof, fixed and sliding glass walls, folding doors for full opening. The structure is engineered for the snow and wind of the area, with integrated gutters that drain water without issues.

  • Aluminium structure — powder-coated, maintenance-free, in the colour of your façade

  • Ventilation — opening rooflights or louvres for summer air circulation
  • Accessories — vertical sun blinds, LED lighting, infrared heating

How much a glass veranda costs

In Tirana prices range from 150 to 300 €/m² of covered area, depending on the roof type and glazing system. A 4×3 m veranda (about 25–30 m² of glass development) typically costs 3,500–7,000 €. Verandas for bars and restaurants are quoted on a dedicated project basis, with discounts for large areas. The fixed quote is given after a free survey.

Cold or warm veranda?

A "cold" veranda with standard aluminium and single glass protects from rain and wind — perfect from April to October and as a buffer zone in winter. A "warm" veranda with thermal-break profiles and double glazing becomes a real room usable 12 months a year, with minimal heating. The price difference is about 30–40%; at the survey we show you with examples which one fits your use.

Frequently asked questions

Is a building permit needed for a veranda?

For private houses a simplified declaration is usually enough; for businesses and façade changes we recommend a preliminary check. We guide you through your case.

Is a glass veranda really watertight?

Completely: EPDM gaskets, integrated gutters and correct roof pitch eliminate every leak. We test it with water before handover.

How long does construction take?

Production 2–3 weeks, installation 2–4 days depending on size. No heavy masonry work — the intervention is clean.
